Presently the principal at Glencliff High School in Nashville... Played quarterback for the Governors for four years from 1948-1951, captained the 1951 football team and was named All-VSAC in 1951... Also started in basketball and baseball for four straight years and was a captain in both sports... Led the baseball team to a 9-3 record as co-captain in 1950 and still holds the record for most triples in a game (2)... Winner of the Joy Award in 1952... After graduation he compiled an outstanding record as a high school football coach at North High in Nashville... A native of Antioch, Tennessee.
