Austin Peay’s first womens star for the Austin Peay Normal Teacherettes... Averaged 20.7 points during the 1933-34 basketball season, when the team average was only 30 per game... Scored 37 points in one game, which may still be a school record... Also participated in volleyball, soccer, swimming, tennis, hunting and fishing... Called “Star Queen” on campus... After graduation, the Joelton native went on to star for powerful Nashville Business College... She now lives in Germantown.
