Joined the Govs late into practice last fall...went through complete spring practice, gaining opportunities at tailback position...size and straight-ahead power offers Govs change of pace... In 2012, set a new career high for rushing yards against Southeast Missouri with 133 yards on 22 carries, 81 of which came in the second half. Also had 178 all-purpose yards, a season high for any Gov....Rushed for 110 yards on 21 carries against Murray State. It was the first 100-yard performance of his Austin Peay career. Also scored his first college touchdown on a 32-yard second-quarter run... In game against Jacksonville State finished with 140 all-purpose yards, 73 yards rushing and 67 in receptions.....as senior at Northeast High School, rushed 132 times for 935 yards, averaging 7.08 yards per carry, while scoring eight touchdowns his senior year...defensively as linebacker, recorded 74 solo tackles and 85 assists his senior year... Named Leaf Chronicle Area Player of the Year and selected All-State senior season... three-time all-region selection, including Region 5-AAA Most Valuable linebacker as senior... also chosen to All-Area team as well...selected as a captain for Tennessee West All-Star Team.
