2014: Governors second-leading tackler (74 total stops) in 2014 returns for senior campaign… one of six Governors to start all 12 games in 2014… had three contests with double-digit stops: 10 in back-to-back games against Murray State and UT Martin and a season-high 12 against Tennessee State… forced fumbles against Memphis and Jacksonville State.
2013: Played in all 12 games in the 2013 season, shifting from linebacker to defensive end early in season to help depleted area … ended up starting eight games… tied for team with five tackles for loss and two sacks… had at least one tackle in every game in 2013… had five tackles against Ohio and Southeast Missouri… had four tackles against Murray State and Jacksonville State.
2012: Appeared in all 11 games in 2012… as special-teamer and backup linebacker still managed 35 tackles (21 solo); tied for team lead with three forced fumbles… made six tackles (three solo) and had a share of a tackle for loss against Virginia Tech… made four total tackles (three solo) against Eastern Illinois… forced a fumble and made seven tackles (four solo) against Murray State… made four tackles (two solo) against Eastern Kentucky… concluded season with a six-tackle (five solo) game against Tennessee Tech, forcing two fumbles and recovering one.
2011: Redshirted in 2011… originally signed as safety but bulked enough to move to outside backer spot.
High School: Played both free safety and quarterback for Joel Herman at Glendale High School… was named all-conference and all-district on defensive side as a junior… moved to quarterback as a senior… although played football in Missouri, graduated from Berryville (Ark.) High School.
Personal: Criminal justice: homeland security major with agriculture minor… son of Gerald and Kristy Noble… father was standout linebacker for Govs in early 1970s… born Feb. 27.
