Athletic Director's Honor Roll (F21, S22)

2022: Played in 10 games on the defensive line… Posted a tackle against Presbyterian (Sept. 3) and Eastern Kentucky (Sept. 24)… Recorded his first-career sack – dropping the quarterback for a nine-yard loss – against Murray State (Oct. 15)… Had a season-best two tackles against Jacksonville State (Oct. 29)… Finished the season with five tackles and a sack.

2021: Played in six games… Enjoyed season’s best outing with three tackles against Tennessee State (Oct. 2)… Assisted on a tackle for loss against Southeast Missouri (Oct. 9).

High School: Prepped as a defensive lineman and fullback at Whitehaven High School, before joining the Memphis Nighthawks – a homeschool football team – when Shelby County postponed fall sports in 2020… Helped the Nighthawks win the 2020 National Homeschool Football Association (NHFA) Division II Championship… Named to 2020 NHFA All-Star Award honorable mention team.

Personal: Alexander Tyler Whitemore is the son of Anthony and Sheila Whitmore… Birthday is Sept. 9… Has three siblings: Andrew, Aaron, and the late Ashlyn… A pre-professional kinesiology major.
