Austin Peay State University Athletics

As a junior: Collected one tackle in the opener at Troy, Sept. 3, before injury robbed him of the season’s remainder.

As a sophomore: Opened the season as a reserve, but wound up making six starts, morphing into a formidable pass rusher… assisted on three tackles at Vanderbilt… recorded tackles for loss in back-to-back games against Eastern Kentucky and Eastern Illinois… awarded two hurries against the Colonels… three tackles (0.5 for loss) and a hurry against UT Martin… closed home schedule on a high note with first career sack against Southeast Missouri.

Previously: Transferred to Austin Peay from Western Kentucky… wrecking machine as a defensive end for Mike Rogers at Warren Central High School… recorded 109 tackles and 12 sacks as a senior, earning all-state honors… three-time all-conference first-team member… school-record holder with 43 career sacks… also a three-time all-district and all-region basketball player.

Personal: Son of Roland Carver… has one brother, Jace… plans to major in nursing.
