Academics: AD Honor Roll (F15, S16, F16, S17); Dean’s List (S16, F16)
As a junior: After battling injuries through the early portion of his career, the nimble lineman became a valuable contributor… appeared in 10 games and nine starts, including the season’s first seven games before starting each of the final two contests… aided an offense that gained more than 4,000 yards total offense for just the second time in school history.
As a sophomore: Big man finally saw the field, earning playing time in nine contests… after sitting out the first two games, made first appearance at Vanderbilt.
As a redshirt freshman: Back surgery caused him to miss almost the entire 2014 campaign.
As a freshman: Redshirted in 2013 after undergoing shoulder surgery prior to APSU arrival.
High School: Three-year starter at Grainger High School… recorded 120 pancake blocks while allowing only two sacks during 31 career starts… two-time first-team all-conference… earned second-team all-league as sophomore.
Personal: Business accounting major… son of Todd and Annie Ewoldt… born May 22.
