As a senior in 2019-20: Made Austin Peay debut with 21-minute outing at Western Kentucky… played 25 minutes in first start as a Gov at Tulsa… 11 foul-plagued minutes at Vanderbilt… eight points, including a pair of three-pointers, along with three rebounds and a blocked shot against South Carolina State… nine points as a reserve against North Florida, including 5-of-5 mark at the free-throw line… scored Austin Peay’s first six points against Jacksonville State to jump-start an offense that had struggled to get going… hit a pair of threes and scored eight points at Southeast Missouri… career-best 14 points as one of six Govs in double figures at UT Martin… notched 10 points in the SIUE contest… eight points, including the 100th of his Austin Peay career, and a career-best six boards against Eastern Illinois… huge night off the pine with 12 points, including the final four of the first half, in a career-high 30 minutes against Murray State… averaged 9.1 points from Jan. 30-Feb. 20 after another 12-point outing at SIUE… played 19 minutes in Senior Night start against Morehead State… scored nine points in 22 minutes against Murray State in the OVC Tournament semifinals in his final appearance as a Gov.
Prior to Austin Peay: A three-year man at South Carolina on the hardwood… was the rarest of college athletes in the modern era—a two-sport player, he also saw plenty of snaps on the gridiron for the Gamecocks, playing 23 total games over 2017 and 2018… during his stint with the Gamecock basketball team in 2016, when South Carolina—with Figger on staff—advanced to the Final Four… played eight games during that stretch after joining the team in January, then was a vital role player for the next two seasons under Frank Martin—he made 17 starts in 2017-18, and appeared in 46 games for South Carolina over the last three seasons… Daytona Beach News-Journal Player of the Year as a prep junior at Deltona (Fla.) High, averaging 23.5 points and 6.8 rebounds… rated the No. 18 prep tight end in the nation by 247Sports and No. 19 by ESPN.
