High School: Played shortstop and second base for coach Adam Starling at Marquette High School … as a senior, helped lead Mustangs to their fourth-straight Class 4 District 3 championship, as well as their fourth consecutive appearances in the Missouri State Tournament, including a state championship her sophomore season … as a senior, batted .384 with a team-best .574 slugging percentage, 28 runs, 24 RBIs, eight doubles and five home runs … named to the all-district first team, all-conference second team and all-region second team as well as team MVP … as a junior, named to the all-district and all-conference second teams … also played basketball for Mustangs.

Personal: Daughter of Brett and Michelle Gareau  … birthday is Oct. 7 … majoring in exercise science.
