High School: Was an outfielder for coach Brian Rush at Clarksville High School … batted .468 with a team-high 13 home runs, 58 hits, 63 RBI and 65 runs scored for Lady Wildcats as a junior, earning Tennessee Softball Coaches Association All-State first-team honors as well as District 10-AAA Player of the Year, The Leaf-Chronicle All-Area first team and second-team All Mid-State Team … as a sophomore, batted .421, with six home runs, 13 doubles and four triples in earning First Team selections in District 10-AAA and The Leaf-Chronicle All-Area squads … as a freshman, batted .358 with three home runs and 15 RBI … also played basketball.

Personal: Daughter of Shawn and Melissa Berner … father is former state championship winning head football coach at Fort Campbell (Ky.) High School … has one older sister Haley … birthday is Nov. 10 … plans on majoring in exercise science.
