Career Recap: Austin Peay

As a sophomore in 2024:

  • Became Austin Peay’s primary goalkeeper, starting in all 13 games she appeared in and logging 1,190 minutes in the net.
  • Helped lead the Governors to a 2-1 victory in the season opener against Western Kentucky (Aug. 15), becoming the first Governor since 2016 to win their first-career start,
  • Her six saves in the win against the Hilltoppers also marked her first of nine contests with at least five saves and first of eight allowing one-or-fewer goals.
  • Earned her first-career shutout against Chattanooga (Aug. 22) in a seven-save performance.
  • Made five saves on 13 shots faced in a 1-1 draw against UT Martin (Aug. 25) to lead Austin Peay to a 2-0-1 start to the season.
  • Made a then-career-high eight saves in a 2-1 loss to Ball State (Sept 5).
  • Helped the Govs secure a scoreless shutout against Southern Indiana (Sept .12).
  • Earned her third shutout of the season – and second in as many games – in the ASUN Conference opener against Bellarmine with six saves.
  • Had a career-best 11 saves against Central Arkansas (Sept. 29).
  • Made her postseason starting debut in the first round of the ASUN Championship where she made 11 saves in a career-high 110 minutes between the pipes.
  • Her 72 saves are the 12th-most by an Austin Peay goalkeeper in a single season, while her 5.54 saves per game are the third-most in a single season.
  • Her 1.29 goals-against average is the ninth-best mark by an Austin Peay keeper in a single season.

As a freshman in 2023:

  • Played in four matches during her freshman season, playing a total of 63 minutes between the pipes.
  • Made her collegiate debut in an eight-minute performance at North Dakota State, Aug. 25.
  • Played a season-high 45 minutes against Southern Indiana, Sept. 7, while also making a season-high two saves.
  • Manned the net in penalty kicks during Austin Peay’s first-round advancement in the 2023 AUSN Women’s Soccer Championship against Kennesaw State, Oct. 26, stopping four shots from the line to lead the Governors to their first postseason advancement since 2013.

Career Recap: Lee’s Summit High School
A four-time district champion at Lee’s Summit High School under head coach Dave Wiebenga… Helped lead the Tigers to three-straight District 7 titles during her freshman-junior seasons and a District 12 title during her senior campaign… Won back-to-back conference titles as a sophomore and junior… Named the District 7 Goalkeeper of the Year as a sophomore in 2021… Earned Ozarks Sports Zone Class 4 All-State and Goalkeeper of the Year honors in 2022… Also played for the LSHS girls’ basketball team, lettering in her freshman season… Played club ball for the Kansas City Athletics 05 ENCL club under head coach Vasil Ristov.
