Allard is the primary contact for men’s basketball, softball, track and field, men’s and women’s cross country, beach volleyball, and serves as the secondary contact for football.

Throughout his career, Allard has served as the primary contact for 11 of APSU’s 15 sports for at least one season, in addition to his current role as the secondary contact for football. He also served as APSU Athletics’ graphic designer, Jan.-Feb. 2023.

During the 2024-25 academic year, Governors basketball saw continued growth in its social media following, with a 42% increase in followers on Instagram and a 15% growth on X which is an overall growth of 84% combined since taking over as the program’s primary contact prior to the 2023-24 season, including a 306% growth on Instagram alone. He also helped orchestrate interview requests with Fox Sports, ESPN, along with multiple local and Nashville-based media outlets.

Austin Peay’s softball team again saw a drastic growth in its social media following, with a 23% and 32% growth on X and Instagram, respectively, and a 68% growth over each of the last two seasons. Additionally, Governors softball amassed a record 3,800,000 social media impressions – marking its second-straight season doubling the mark since his taking over as the primary contact of the program.

After being named to his current position in July 2023, he became the primary contact for Governors basketball, becoming the second-youngest Division I men’s basketball contact in the nation. During the 2023-24 academic year, Allard spearheaded social media and online content for the program which saw over 10,000,000 social media impressions across X, Instagram, and Facebook – over double that of the previous program record – as the team advanced to the ASUN Championship game and earned a bid to the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Basketball Tournament. With the aid of his social media skills, the men’s basketball Instagram account grew 187%– the largest percentage of growth across any Austin Peay Athletics social media page. During the season, he helped orchestrate interviews and media availability with CBS Saturday Morning with Dana Jacobson, The New York Times, Sports Illustrated, and numerous local media outlets.

During the 2022-23 academic year, Allard served as the contact for Austin Peay women’s basketball, soccer, men’s tennis, women’s tennis, track and field, and the secondary for softball.

In his first season at Austin Peay, Allard transitioned from the role of student worker to Athletics Communications Assistant, where he was the contact for Austin Peay volleyball, men’s tennis, women’s tennis, men’s cross country, and women’s cross country. He also assisted with social media coverage for APSU softball.

Before joining APSU Athletics, Allard was the assistant sports editor and distribution manager for the Austin Peay student newspaper, The All State, and served as a freelance sports writer and photographer for Main Street Clarksville.

Allard is a member of the College Sports Communicators (CSC) and the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA). He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sports communication from Austin Peay in May 2022.
