Austin Peay President Dr. Michael Licari named two-time APSU graduate and former Governors baseball player Jordan Harmon as Austin Peay's Interim Director of Athletics on Aug. 15, 2025.

Prior to being named the Interim Director of Athletics, Harmon was named the general manager for APSU Athletics in July 2025. In this role, he coordinated leadership in revenue sharing and name, image, and likeness management.

Harmon, a St. Louis native, returned to Austin Peay in March 2024 after a year as the director of development at Bishop Verot Catholic High School in Fort Myers, Florida. Upon his return, he was named Deputy Director of Athletics and Chief Revenue Officer – the first CRO in department history.

A 2017 Austin Peay graduate, Harmon was a member of Austin Peay’s athletics department for three years, becoming Deputy Director of Athletics for Competitive Excellence and Championship Resources just before his departure. He originally joined the department in January 2020 as Assistant Director of Athletics for Development. However, before joining the department formally, he served as Director of Development for Athletics Fundraising within the University Advancement office in November 2017.

During his first tenure in the athletics department, Harmon assisted the athletics department in setting fundraising records. In July 2020, the athletics department announced that $2.74 million was raised for Austin Peay Athletics – the second most in department history. Following a record $3.6 million raised in 2018-19, more than $6.35 million has been raised to support Austin Peay’s athletics mission – the best two-year fundraising period in athletics department history.

Harmon was a pitcher on the Austin Peay baseball team from 2014-17 and graduated from APSU with a bachelor's in finance in May 2017. He also earned a master's in management from Austin Peay in 2020. Harmon's wife, Reagan (née Greene), was a member of the Austin Peay women's golf team for two seasons. They have one daughter, Parker, who they welcomed in December 2024.
